# Filecheck

> A preflight and file-upload policy layer for the web. Filecheck inspects, validates and
> automatically fixes PDFs, raster images and documents at the moment they are uploaded,
> before a bad file reaches production. Pay-as-you-go: €0.10 per job checked, fixed and
> packaged, 20 free test credits to start, no subscription.

Filecheck replaces a plain upload button with one that enforces your rules. It checks bleed,
resolution, embedded fonts, colour space, total ink coverage, PDF/X conformance, overprint,
hairlines and page geometry, fixes what can be fixed automatically, and shows the customer a
visual soft proof of what will actually print. Files are processed with zero retention.

It is aimed at anyone who receives files from other people and pays when those files are
wrong: print shops, marketplaces, apparel decorators, signage and laser-cutting shops, legal
and government e-filing, and developers building their own upload pipelines.
